WHY did they wait so long to chastise Don Imus? After his racial slur against the Rutgers women’s basketball team, he had finally, FINALLY, crossed the line? Whose line? Not my line. I’ve never even heard his show. But from what I’ve read about him, he would not be a person I would listen to anyways. I think that the people who think like him, would be the ones that listen to his show, and the ones that don’t, wouldn’t even know it existed. I’ve already privately censured him. Easy. But by taking him off the air, we’ve created a martyr for his ‘cause’ and cut into MY freedom of speech. Do I believe he should be allowed to say what he said?
