| Howard Stern Votes for Sanjaya on American Idol: | |
|
|
WHO CARES?! Why is it that the American Public is willing to spend time, effort and even money, on a reality that isn’t even their own? The lines are drawn, the stakes are waged and normal ordinary people are perched on the edge of their sofas each week, crowded around their tv’s, phones in hand, fingers over the keypad, waiting to vote on a show that doesn’t even remotely resemble their ordinary lives or much less affect their day to day. It’s not as if by watching American Idol, “I will become a better person”. Actually, it is a downhill slide to a quagmire of mental sludge and poppycock. It is exactly those effects that the producers of the show are counting on. More money for them if you keep tuning in, getting more people to join in the flapdoodle over Sanjaya Malakar and whether Howard Stern and the people at www.votefortheworst.com should have their say and vote to keep him going to the top. The debate of ‘fraud’ and rigging the polls to make the worst win has inspired other websites to metastasize from the nethers (we won’t mention which nether regions) of said American Public. If the American Public would put more effort into their own reality, rather than watching a made up one on tv, how much farther could we be? American Idol has ‘Jumped the Shark’ from day one and it is unlikely that the people from StickittoStern.com are going to get their wish. Have an opinion? Post it here: Dontbanme Forums |
